President, DevelopmentMr. Poverni’s expertise encompasses structuring and managing of the development life cycle, from project feasibility studies, to site control, financing, syndication, construction management, asset stabilization and disposition. Mr. Poverni founded the firm in 2011 and continues to be the driving force behinds its growth, and is thankful for the talented people that work at PSG to help make its’ projects and business lines a success day-in and day-out. Mr. Poverni holds a J.D. from the George Washington University, and an M.B.A from the University of Maryland.
Mr. Kostrikin is an experienced real estate professional and corporate executive. He has been involved in real estate development, asset management and finance since 2008.As a principal of Poverni Sheikh Group, he has been instrumental in building and managing a growing portfolio of small and mid-size multifamily, as well as mixed use and commercial properties. Mr. Kostrikin’s prior experiences include working within the exotic securities division of Morgan Stanley, as well as holding a managerial position with one of the industry leading mortgage servicers and originators. Mr. Kostrikin holds a B.S. in Financial Economics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
Mr. Sheikh has over 10 years of experience in the Baltimore construction and development fields, with a particular focus on adaptive reuse. Mr. Sheikh oversees PSG general contracting division and is focused on design-building PSG’s projects. Mr. Sheikh holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Maryland.

VP, Corporate FinanceEduardo is a Principal and Credit Committee member of PSG and the Co-founder of Lapa Capital, a firm dedicated to alternative investments in both fixed income and equity I private markets, and former Managing Director of Marketfield Asset Management, a large New York registered investment advisor, where he spent 10 years overseeing several of the firm’s areas such as pricing and global investor relations. Between 2003 and 2009, Eduardo held several positions at ABN AMRO and Merrill Lynch, focused mainly on investments, derivatives, and pricing. Eduardo holds Masters in Finance from London Business School and holds an Electrical Engineer degree from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo.
Cameron Lawson serves as Vice President of Operations at PSG Lending. Cameron helps chiefly manage, maintain and service the existing loan portfolio, while also contributing to the processing and underwriting of prospective loans. He is additionally responsible for helping to oversee company-wide infrastructure and protocol implementation. Previous to joining PSG Lending, he worked for 7 years for Hopkins Federal Savings Bank, which had locations in Baltimore City and Pikesville, where he held the titles of Loan Processor and Settlement Coordinator. After Hopkins Federal Savings Bank, he worked as the Single Family Homes Operations Manager for ERC Capital, Inc., a real estate investment company also based out of Pikesville. Cameron graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
Kirill Boyko is an Assistant Vice President of Accounting and Corporate Finance, in charge of the budget review, cash flow management, financial statement preparation and analysis for the firm. Prior to joining Poverni Sheikh Group, Kirill Boyko worked from 2009 to 2018 as a senior Operations professional at Morgan Stanley in New York, responsible for day-to-day Operational support for Credit Default Swaps. Kirill Boyko holds a B.S in Financial Economics from University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

VP, Asset managementJustin Brown is an accountant with PSG Lending. He assists with the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process, cash management, accounts payable, interest reconciliations, liquidity forecasting, financial statement preparation, auditor requests, and day-to-day accounting duties. He has experience working at public accounting firms in the construction, real Estate, CIRA, and medical industries. He graduated with a B.S in Accounting from Towson University.
Nicolas Poniatowski is a Co-founder at Lapa Capital, having played an instrumental role in the firm’s founding in 2018 and growth to date. Nicolas has 20 years of investment experience, most recently serving as a Managing Director at Stelac, a New York registered investment advisor working with client’s investment strategies as well as sourcing private equity deals. He started his career at JP Morgan in New York in the Asset Management and Investment Banking division where he covered Latin America. Nicolas is the Chairman of WX Brands and sits on the board of 3 private companies in the US and Latam with combined revenues in excess of $600M. Nicolas holds an MBA from Columbia and London Business School and a B.A. in Finance from E.S.C.E in Paris.
Mr. Katsman is a seasoned corporate executive with extensive managerial and technical experience. Mr. Katsman focuses on compliance and internal infrastructure backbone, in addition to managing the company’s commercial properties portfolio. Mr. Katsman’s previous experiences include managerial roles within Dulles Taxi Systems and Transportation General Inc, as well as a sales and technical role with a residential property automation firm. Mr. Katsman holds a B.S. degree from Kiev Technical Institute.

Senior Associate, AccountingVladimir Popik is a Loan Origination associate as well as Loan Processing at PSG Lending, communicating with mortgage brokers and real estate developers and assisting with proper delivery of every executed loan signed up with the company. Vladimir completed his B.A. in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing at Towson University and transitioned from his employment at Poverni Sheikh Group to PSG Lending to continue growing his knowledge in the real estate industry. Vladimir especially loves reviewing potential loans that involve anything automotive, because he can talk about cars for hours.
Mr. Ansbacher is a loan officer who specializes in loan origination and underwriting for PSG Lending. Mr. Ansbacher’s prior experiences include work as a paralegal for Rosenberg & Clark, LLC, a real estate law firm specializing in cell tower lease negotiations, and work for the BP settlement fund as a claims analyst. Mr. Ansbacher holds a B.S. in Finance at Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Mr. Rizvi is a Finance and Asset Management Senior Associate at Poverni Sheikh Group. Mr. Rizvi coordinates the company’s accounts payable function, as well as other internal financing activity. Mr. Rizvi has been with Poverni Sheikh Group since 2015 and is currently pursuing a B.S. in Accounting with a minor in Business Administration from University of Maryland University College.

Senior Associate, OperationsElliot is responsible for growing the deals pipeline through forming relationships with mortgage brokers and real estate developers across the U.S. Elliot graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in BA while simultaneously graduating from Ner Israel Rabbinical College with a Master’s degree in Talmudic Law.
Ryan Blank focuses on business development and growing PSG’s capital partnerships on the self storage front. Since joining the PSG team in 2019, his efforts have helped fundraise with over 40 new individual investors across seven projects as well as investing his own funds with the firm. Most of these deals have been located in the Mid-Atlantic; Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Ryan Blank’s prior experience is with several successful internet and financial based startups as well as real estate investing. Mr. Blank attended College of Charleston and Towson University and holds a B.S. in economics and business management.
Angel Elky serves as Operations Senior Associate at PSG Credit. As a member of the Operations Division she assists the lenders in facilitating loan closings and services the existing loan portfolio. Prior to joining PSG Credit, Angel worked in the banking industry for over twenty years as a Commercial Loan Administrator, Executive Assistant, and Loan Documentation Specialist at K Bank, Hopkins Federal Savings Bank, Bay Bank, and Revere Bank.

Associate, Development & AcquisitionsMr. Robertson is a Capital Markets and Investor Relations Associate at Poverni Sheikh Group. Previously he worked as a consultant at Brailsford & Dunlavey in Washington, D.C., assisting higher education clients in strategic decision making throughout the complicated planning and implementation processes of new facilities including off-campus student housing and public-private-partnerships. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Maryland as well as a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development from the Colvin Institute of Real Estate Development at The University of Maryland.
Mr. Cerino is a Acquisition & Development Associate at Poverni Sheikh Group. Mr. Cerino was most recently a project manager for a Baltimore based Food Hall Development company where he worked on projects in Cleveland Ohio, Baltimore Maryland, and High Point North Carolina. Mr. Cerino holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development from the Colvin Institute of Real Estate Development at The University of Maryland and an MBA from The Robert H. Smith School of Business at The University of Maryland.
Mr. Arnold is an Associate of Development & Acquisitions at the Poverni Sheikh Group, LLC. He holds a certification in ARGUS Enterprise 14.0 and his responsibilities include analysis, coordinating and implementing development projects. Mr. Arnold received a B.S. in Commercial Real Estate Finance at the College of Charleston, Charleston, South Carolina.

General CounselMatthew Gillis serves as an Associate of Operations at PSG Lending. Matthew helps manage and service the existing loan portfolio. Previous to joining PSG Lending, he worked for OneMain Financial, a national consumer finance and insurance company, where he held the title of Personal Loan Specialist. Matthew graduated from American University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
Avinash Ramesh is a Loan Analyst at PSG, helping the firm to underwrite and close potential deals on a regular basis. Avinash has 5 years of international work experience in consumer and commercial lending. Prior to joining PSG, Avinash worked with one of the largest banks, Bank Alfalah, and a global prestigious bank, Standard Chartered Bank. Avinash graduated with MS in Real Estate and Finance from American University in Washington D.C. Avinash loves real estate and wants to become one of the best mortgage analyst in the region.
Jonathan Siegel serves as general counsel for PSG Lending, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s legal functions. Mr. Siegel’s responsibilities include advising on prospective loan transactions and assisting in the underwriting and settlement process. Mr. Siegel received his JD from the University of Maryland.

Jonathan graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor’s degree in Game Art and Production and a minor in Video Production.
